Starling Community Development District
The Starling Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended and established on March 26, 2024 by the Board of County Commissioners of Charlotte County Ordinance No. 2024-007 as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.
The Starling CDD is located entirely within Charlotte County and covers approximately 297.16 acres of land. The site is generally located east of Burnt Store Road, west of Green Gulf Boulevard and at the southeastern corner of Township 42, Range 23, Section 09.
The powers and functions of the District are described in Chapter 190, Florida Statutes.

The Starling Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended and established on March 26, 2024 by the Board of County Commissioners of Charlotte County Ordinance No. 2024-007.
The powers and functions of the District are described in Chapter 190, Florida Statutes (2023), as may be amended from time to time. Consent is hereby given to the District's Board of Supervisors. to finance, fund, plan, establish, acquire, construct, reconstruct, enlarge or extend, equip, operate, and maintain systems and facilities for parks and facilities for indoor and outdoor recreational, cultural, and educational uses, and for security, all as authorized and described by Sections 190.012(2)(a) and (2)(d), Florida Statutes (2023).
